Willy McAllister
Willy McAllister, M.S. is an Electrical engineer with extensive experience exploring and developing new technologies. Electronics, computer architecture and design, custom integrated circuits, embedded systems, and novel communication schemes. Consumer medical device design, validation and manufacturing in a regulated environment. Instrumentation for biological and chemical measurement. He has worked at Proteus Digital Health as Manager of Advanced Technology; at Pelikan Technologies as Senior Manager, Sustaining Engineering Commercial release and sustaining engineering for the Pelikan SUN™, as Senior Laboratory Manager and Acting Head of R&D. At Agilent Laboratories and Hewlett Packard Laboratories, Palo Alto Research Project Manager he led team of analytical chemists, biochemists, electrical and mechanical engineers working on DNA and protein microarray assays, silicon micromachining, microfluidics, and bioinformatics. At Hewlett Packard, Cupertino R&D he was a Senior Engineer and Project Manager for integrated circuit design teams in HP’s high-performance mini-computer product divisions. He holds a BS EE with Honors from UC Santa Barbara, an MS EE from Stanford University, and has 9 US patents.
